At some point every healthcare leader will encounter the importance of addressing well-being struggles personally and with the staff they lead. Healthcare professional burnout has accelerated in recent years following the pandemic and leaders must implement long-term strategies for sustainability. This panel will focus on how prioritizing well-being carries over into areas such as reducing stress and anxiety, enhancing patient care, workforce retention, and promoting diversity and inclusion in the workforce. In summary, investing in the well-being of health care professionals’ benefits both the workforce and the patients they serve.
