Kristi Stern, MPH, CPXP

Kristi is an experienced healthcare leader passionate about patient, family, and community-centered care and engagement. She has led and implemented market-wide performance strategies, creating a service excellence and accountability culture across large medical groups and rural community hospitals. She has over 25 years of experience leading and optimizing Medical Group operations, utilizing data analytics, EMR optimization, and patient-centered medical home best practices to improve Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) & Health Outcome Scores (HOS), surveys, and quality care.
Kristi has been in East Texas for seven years, having the privilege for working at Christus Health and UT Health Physicians Group before transitioning to her corporate role with Ardent Health Services.
Kristi holds a BA in Health and Human Services, a Master’s Degree in Public Health and is a Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP). Her expertise extends to Lean Six Sigma, where she is a Master Black Belt. She is pursuing her doctoral degree in Public Health and serves as the Board of Directors Chair for the State of Texas MGMA.
