Dr. Ledlow is a board-certified healthcare administrator with over 35 years of successful practical and academic experience in leadership and management positions; his experience includes over eleven years in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps, nearly three years in corporate healthcare and over twenty years in academia. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has led initiatives in healthcare supply chain, managed care, and population health integration with value-based care systems. He has successfully led multiple teams of diverse professionals, from over one hundred professionals to smaller teams, in military, corporate, education and academic programs. Dr. Ledlow has been a founding ‘architect’ or significant contributor to the development and launch of four (4) doctor level and seven (7) master level graduate programs in multiple delivery formats at three research universities in three states. He has co-authored nine volumes of texts/books to include a nationally recognized textbook on healthcare leadership, in 3d edition (earned a Doody’s Review Service 5 Star and 100 out of 100 score) with 4th edition in development and a national level textbook on the healthcare supply chain. Dr. Ledlow is the developer of the Dynamic Culture Leadership Model, the Inter-professional Team Model called PAARP, the Strategic Relationship Assessment Model called CAAVE with an assessment instrument called the CaT(c) used by the Vested Outsourcing Group(tm), and the Emergency Preparedness Assessment System called the GREaT(c) System. He was Dean of the School of Community and Rural Health, Health Science Center at the University of Texas at Tyler. Currently he is a Professor in the Healthcare Policy, Economics and Management Department, the International Chair of the Healthcare Supply Chain Standards Board (ISCEA), inducted in the Kenneth I. Shine, MD Academy for Health Science Education and was the former chair and member of the MD Anderson Cancer Center – UT Health East Texas System Quality and Metrics Group. He is married for 28 years to his wonderful wife Silke and is the father to three wonderful, intelligent, and caring daughters.
